Make it so tinker credits reset every day

i think it would be way cooler if tinker credits reset every day

    For what reason though? Do you mean the 30 days worth of credits split into 30 days worth of credits that reset? What would be the benefit?
    Or do you mean free credits or more credits in general? lol

    It does feel like the $10 worth of credits disappears quickly hahah

      It would be nice if there was clarification as to what exactly a credit is and how it is used.

      I feel like I did quite a bit with the initial freeby credit. But… I wasn’t even aware I was getting freeby credit. I followed a random link from Reddit here and opted to give things a try. Suddenly I was being told I had used them all. Oookay… so I’ve used up an unknown amount of an unknown currency system at an unknown rate. Gotcha. And now I can opt to buy more credit… but it’s not clear how much I’ll get, or how quickly I’ll consume it.

      Maybe I missed something somewhere that clarifies things. But it’s not front and center for me, or others, to reference… which makes me leery to buy in.

      Hi there, thanks for the feedback! It's hard to give an exact quantity because it's the summation of small things like icons, animation, chat, transcription, etc. Even icons can consume varying amounts of usage depending on how complex they are. But the best way to understand how your credit has been used is in Settings › Usage. You can see exactly which functions your credit has gone into. Hope that helps!

      Thanks for the feedback on credit! 😊 Two changes for Family and Studio plans... We’ve reset everyone's usage for a fresh start, and from now on Tinker Credit comes back every Monday instead of once a month! It also adds up to more credit over a month than before.

    Congrats on the first post! 😊 Right now, the way to more credit without a plan is by inviting a friend from Settings › Friends: once they link their own Yoto account, you both get some. Some features work with no credit at all as well such as icon matching an entire playlist, recording links, printing etc.
